#82 is another track prepared car – or it was once. This car apparently has a glamorous history as a Group 2 race car that was built by Hendricks Motorsport in the 1970s. It is one of three such cars that has recently surfaced after the passing of Wolfgang Rische. Now this isn’t a car so much as a project, and not even a complete one sadly. The car has been robbed of its engine, fuel tank, seats and other important parts. If it had the engine it would most certainly be a worthwhile project as you could get some way towards its original specification, as it sits £2,500 is a lot of money for a rolling shell which is why no one has bid as of yet. This is an expensive Imp and you could only restore it back to what it was, so I would only look to buy if you already know the car or love researching history to try and find out how to put it back to spec.
