Find #111 has been in storage for over 40 years which is pretty incredible. This 1947 Jaguar was evidently once a stunning car and hopefully will be once again, though it looks like it may be a tough project to complete for someone. The car looks solid but is missing a few key parts that are downplayed somewhat by the seller. The car is all there apart from the sump, head and carburettors, so practically half the engine. I really doubt that 1947 3.5 Jaguar engine parts are kept on the shelf anywhere so it may be a little trouble sourcing those. The car is also listed on behalf of the eBay account holder’s brother which often sounds dodgy but the car is apparently available for viewing with genuine reasons for the sale, and no reserve too. £2,250 is the current bid and that looks pretty cheap for what this is.
