Auction Spot #1

I go to quite a lot of classic car auctions and a few modern ones too, so I thought I would keep an eye out for cool listings and post them here. My first pick isn’t with a physical auction, but rather with online auction house Catawiki, who often have many beautiful cars going through for sale. I saw this gorgeous Maserati Quattroporte I Series AM 107 knew it was more than worthy of being the first post. This car just oozes elegance, class and sophistication, and for me it would win most top trumps at Cars and Coffee pretty much anywhere.

Only 776 of these Maseratis were produced and I would imagine there are a few less of them by now. The car was repainted many years ago in its original colour of Cordoba Red but the mustard interior is original. The car has been fully serviced in every possible way and has a history folder full of documents and invoices detailing its life with only two owners. The bidding is just shy of £67,000 and ending today, and I personally think it is worth every penny of that. The bidding estimate is £89k-£116k though so it may not sell.
