Auction Spot #7

I was a bit surprised when I saw the auction listing for this car, not only is it incredibly well known online, but I’ve also seen it out on the road myself and can assure you that it is every bit as stunning as it looks in these photos. This is a matching numbers 1965 Jaguar E-Type that has been rebuilt to semi-lightweight specification by way of a nut and bolt restoration. It also won the ‘Best in Class’ at the 2016 Warren Concours and was invited to appear at the Hampton Court Concours in 2017. The car has covered less than 5,000 miles since its rebuild and has a guide of £180,000-£210,000 which I can see it achieving.
