I normally don’t have much time for kit cars, they can be badly built and its not the sort of thing I would really want to chance my arm on. This Marcos Mantula V8 looks to be quite nice though and was originally built by a garage proprietor and then restored a few years ago. It is fitted with a 3.9 Rover V8 and a five speed manual gearbox and also features a limited slip diff. The mileage of just over 15,000 is warranted and the MOTs are present to confirm this. The current owner has a collection of 28 cars (three of which are in this auction). The car was laid up from 1998 to 2009 at which point it was brought out into the daylight and restored. Its a shame that this car is on a Q plate but it could be a fun weekend car for someone with a guide price of roughly £10k.
