The Lotus Cortina is one of my Dad’s favourite cars, and one he’d still love to own. Ideally he’d go for a MK1 car but I’ve got a feeling he wouldn’t turn down this MK2 either. This car has been built as a historic road rally car, the engine was fully rebuilt in 2014 and has completed around 350 road miles since then, so it’s still plenty fresh. The body is in very good condition with a few age related marks such as a crack in the slam panel (which doesn’t affect the structure). It is fitted with two Sparco rally seats though the original seats are included in the sale. The car has a buy it now price of £20,000 but is currently bid up to £15,000.
