I think the Aston Martin V8 Vantage sounds pretty great when stock, but this Quicksilver exhaust upgrade sounds pretty fantastic too.
In this video you get to hear the new Vantage start up, rev and even crackle. Obviously its not like listening to the car in the flesh but it does give you a good idea of just how good it will sound. I had a chance to have a sit in the car when it was touring the AM main dealers and I think it looks pretty incredible.
Since the DB11 has been introduced and Aston Martin has made a push to get younger buyers I’ve seen more and more of their cars in bold colours such as this V12 Vantage S, which is in a fantastic eye searing Yellow that I love. It presents such a great aesthetic and I could even get past the red callipers that don’t suit the rest of the car. It’s listed for £125k which is obviously not cheap but it is a nearly new car with only 100 miles on the clock in its first year of life apparently, which is a bit of a waste. I don’t think it’s an easy car to sell on but in a future when this becomes more of a classic then colours like this will quite possibly be worth the most.
Aston Martin Vantages are now within a reasonable purchase price range, though running costs are another thing, which means that I keep looking at them more and more. In my searches I’ve found it can be hard to find them in interesting colours as most are silver/black/grey and a manual car is also important as always. Continue reading “Cool eBay Find #101”
It doesn’t seem to be a good time for Aston Martins out on the road at the moment. Last week I posted about a DB11 with its front end gone and now I’ve seen this V12 Vantage S which looks like its been crashed in just about every way possible. Continue reading “Another smashed up Aston.”
I was out having a nice little Sunday drive and decided to pop into Grange Aston Martin in Brentwood to see what they had in. On the forecourt was this stunning satin blue V12 Vantage which is a rare factory option – the only gripe being the protection film that only comes halfway up the bonnet and the front wings. Here are some photos of the new Aston Martin Vantage, which is nearly production ready but still under a camouflage wrap (which I quite like). Continue reading “New Aston Vantage (Nearly) Revealed”
