In recent weeks I’ve seen a few posts about the Challenge Stradale on social media and I’m pretty intrigued, especially since a few people have called it one of the best sounding cars ever. Continue reading “Auction Spot #59: Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale”
Pretty much anything with a Ferrari badge is bound to go up in value at some point and that means buying cars at the lower end of the price spectrum like this 348 TB can be a very good idea. Continue reading “Internet Find #67”
I think I may have just found the perfect Ferrari for me. This 1997, 33,000 mile 355 GTB finished in the rare colour of Grigio Titanio with a Bordeaux Red interior is just lovely, and a manual! I love Ferraris in most colours, but I love the subtly of this one and the red interior actually suits it perfectly. It has a full service record from new and is owned by the owner of a specialist car company and used on dry weekends as a personal car. £95k is a lot of money for one of these but if it is truly as perfect as the listing says it is then perhaps it isn’t a terrible price if there is some negotiation to be had.
Wouldn’t it be lovely to be able to own an old Ferrari just to use on nice days and weekends? Something like this lovely 1985 308GTS Quattrovalve would suit me down to the ground. It is number 218 of 233 RHD cars built, which means you probably won’t see another one often. Continue reading “Internet Find #60”
#9 definitely isn’t a car for the shy and retiring type. This Ferrari 348 TS is presented in a stunningly bright Giallofly yellow which would make you stand out anywhere you went. Continue reading “Auction Spot #9”
Another lovely car at the ‘Spirit of Motoring’ auction is this stunning Ferrari 355 Spider – with a rare manual gearbox no less. Its a LHD car which may put some British buyers off but you can’t deny that this car looks to be in lovely condition. Continue reading “Auction Spot #5”
It’s always sad to see a smashed up car, especially when it’s one as nice as a Ferrari 430 (a manual one!!). As you can see from the photos this car is completely ruined and it now a Cat B car, meaning it cannot go back on the road as the shell/chassis is compromised. The car is actually being sold by the owner (who was involved in the crash) and tells the story of it. Continue reading “Cool eBay Find #92”
